to a young woman who has roughly three years of work experience –
mostly in jobs and industries that are unrelated to her training and
post-secondary education; the second to a young man who wants out of
a particular industry but wants to continue in similar work; and the
third to a gentleman who wants a complete career change; he wants
to turn his successful hobby – something he loves – into a career. |

These résumés are concise and use white space, underlined headings,
bullets and bold-lettered words and phrases to bring the reader’s
eye to important and relevant information. |

They are, where
appropriate, written in the present tense and use verbs to convey
action. Note the order in which the information is presented
on each résumé. Note also the objective and job target. |
