Frequently Asked Questions

Free answers to your writing, editing and résumé questions.

If I have just one question about my writing, will you answer it and will you charge me?
Sure we’ll answer your question.  And, no, we won’t charge you.  Our answer will be brief and we’ll typically get back to you within 48 hours from the next business day.  Send your question about writing or editing to us here.

Will you prepare and write our marketing or business plan?
The short answer is yes.  However, we suggest that you research, prepare, and outline your marketing or business plan yourself or in consultation with your partners or business advisors.  When you prepare your own plan, you save money and, more importantly, become intimate with its details.  We are happy to provide you with substantive editing and word processing services.

What is the correct way to use the word myriad?
Myriad can be used two ways.  You can use it as a noun:  “This old-fashioned candy store is a myriad of textures and flavours.”  You can also use it as an adjective:  “This old-fashioned candy store offers myriad textures and flavours.”

Can you provide one-on-one training instead of group workshops?
Yes we can.  First we’ll meet with you, either face to face or electronically, to determine your (and your company’s) specific needs as related to writing.  Then we’ll design and implement a program to meet those needs — at your convenience and within your time frame and budget.
